On March 30, 2021, the National Tariff Commission has initiated an anti-dumping investigation against dumped imports of “Disodium Carbonate” (also known as Soda Ash) into Pakistan Originating in and/or Exported from the Republic of Turkey.
Our firm, S.U.Khan Associates Corporate & Legal Consultants prepared and filed this application for imposition of anti-dumping measures, on the behalf of M/s ICI Pakistan Limited and M/s Olympia Chemical Limited. We are hopeful that as a result of this investigation, dumped/unfair imports from Turkey would be restricted through the imposition of definitive measures and the domestic industry producing the domestic like product would have better chances to flourish.
