On July 19, 2026, the National Tariff Commission (NTC) of Pakistan has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty of 17.42% on dumped imports of BOPP Self-Adhesive Tapes in Jumbo Rolls originating in and/or exported from Vietnam. The provisional duty came into effect on 19 July 2026 and will remain in force for four months.
In its preliminary determination, NTC found that the dumped imports were causing material injury to Pakistan’s domestic industry, particularly due to the volume of dumped imports, price undercutting, their adverse impact on inventories, and the magnitude of the dumping margin. Accordingly, provisional anti-dumping measures have been imposed under the Anti-Dumping Duties Act, 2015.
It has been a privilege for S.U.Khan Associates Corporate & Legal Consultants to represent the domestic industry in this investigation. We are grateful to our valued clients, Universal Coating Films (Pvt.) Limited and Tri-Pack Film Limited, for their continued trust and confidence in our team.
We look forward to continuing to support Pakistan’s manufacturing sector and contributing to the fair and effective enforcement of the country’s trade remedy laws.
