On April 22, 2026, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Dextrose Monohydrate from China.

The initiation follows an application filed by the domestic industry, supported by sufficient evidence of dumping, material injury, and causal link. Domestic producers of Dextrose Monohydrate have been under sustained pressure from low-priced imports, impacting market conditions and fair competition. This investigation is a critical step toward addressing those distortions.

We acted for the domestic industry in preparing and filing the application and will continue to represent them throughout the proceedings. We look forward to assisting the Commission and advancing the case toward a reasoned and favorable outcome.
