On April 25, 2026, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Color Coated Cold Rolled Steel Coils/Sheets originating in and/or exported from People’s Republic of China. This also marks the third anti-dumping investigation initiated in last 10 days on applications prepared and filed through our firm.

This initiation follows a comprehensive application prepared and filed by us on behalf of the domestic industry (International Steels Limited). The application was supported by evidence of dumping of the subject goods, material injury to the domestic industry, a clear causal link between dumped imports and injury suffered. For a long time, the domestic producers have faced intense pressure from low-priced imports which has distorted fair competition and adversely impacted market dynamics.

This initiation is an important step and gives the domestic industry a better chance to address unfair trade and compete on a fair basis. We are pleased to have supported the domestic industry in this important matter and will continue to closely assist throughout the investigation process.
