On April 10, 2026, the National Tariff Commission (NTC) has concluded the Second Sunset Review Investigation concerning anti-dumping duties on Continuous Casting (Steel) Billets originating from the People’s Republic of China. The Commission has made an affirmative determination regarding the likelihood of continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury and has accordingly extended the definitive anti-dumping duties for an additional five (5) years.
S.U. Khan Associates had the privilege of representing the domestic industry – Amreli Steels Limited, Mughal Steel and FF STEEL – through PAKISTAN ASSOCIATION OF LARGE STEEL PRODUCERS – PALSP in this review.
This outcome reflects the close collaboration between our firm and the domestic industry, rigorous evidence and argumentation presented during the course of investigation, and the effectiveness of the trade remedy framework administered by the NTC.
We extend our sincere thanks to our clients for their trust and to our team for their dedication and hard work. This decision represents an important step in safeguarding the legitimate interests of Pakistan’s domestic steel industry.
