Preliminary Determination and Imposition of Antidumping Duties against Dumped Imports of ALU ALU FOIL into Pakistan from China

The National Tariff Commission of Pakistan (NTC) has issued its Preliminary Determination on October 21, 2026 in the antidumping investigation concerning imports of Alu Alu Foil (Cold Forming Foil and Tropical Foil) originating in and/or exported from the People’s Republic of China.

Following its preliminary determination of dumping and material injury to Pakistan’s domestic industry, the NTC has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty of 9.03% on the investigated product for a period of four months.

The determination marks an important step towards addressing unfairly traded imports and protecting Pakistan’s domestic manufacturing industry.
