On July 11, 2026, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued its Final Determination in the anti-dumping investigation concerning dumped imports of Disodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) – ADC No. 69/2025/NTC/SA

Acting on the anti-dumping application prepared and filed by our firm on behalf of our valued clients, Lucky Core Industries Limited and Olympia Chemicals Limited, the Commission imposed definitive anti-dumping duties ranging from 4.49% to 13.54% on dumped imports of Disodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) originating in and/or exported from Türkiye and Kenya.

The definitive duties have been imposed for a period of five years, effective from January 15, 2026.

This determination represents an important step toward restoring fair competition in the domestic market and protecting Pakistan’s domestic industry from the injurious effects of unfairly traded imports.
