On September 17, 2025 the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan (NTC) imposed Provisional Antidumping Duties of 21.64% on dumped imports of Cefadroxil originating from the People’s Republic of China. These duties will remain effective for four months from the date of publication of the Notice of Preliminary Determination i.e. 17-Sep-2025.

In line with our commitment to safeguarding the domestic industry, we had the privilege of representing our client (Pharmagen Limited) by preparing and filing the antidumping application and diligently pursuing the matter before the Commission.

This is a significant step toward protecting the domestic industry from unfair trade practices by foreign producers/exporters. We are confident that this positive outcome will pave the way for a final determination in favor of the domestic industry.

This milestone also underscores the recognition of the NTC for genuine concerns raised by the domestic industry.
