On May 23, 2026, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan has initiated a Sunset Review concerning the anti-dumping duties imposed on imports of Phthalic Anhydride originating in and/or exported from the People’s Republic of China, Chinese Taipei, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Korea.

The purpose of the review is to assess whether the expiry of the existing measures is likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and consequent material injury to the domestic industry in Pakistan. Notably, the existing anti-dumping duties remain in force for the duration of the review process.

We are privileged to continue representing the domestic industry in these proceedings, having advised and represented them since the original investigation. Continued representation across different stages of a trade remedy proceeding helps preserve consistency in legal strategy, factual submissions, and evidentiary record before the National Tariff Commission.
