On May 03, 2019, the National Tariff Commission (NTC), Government of Pakistan has imposed provisional antidumping duty ranging from 17.14% to 21.86% on dumped imports of ALUMINIUM BEVERAGE CANS into the commerce of Pakistan originating in and/or exported from Jordan, Sri Lanka and UAE. We prepared and filed this antidumping application with the NTC on behalf of our client M/s. Pakistan Aluminum Beverage Cans Limited, Faisalabad.
Of course this provisionally determined antidumping duty is meant to provide level playing field to the applicant domestic industry, during the investigation, against unfair trade practices of foreign producer / exporters.
Final determination shall be made within 180 days of this preliminary determination.
