On May 25, 2017, the National Tariff Commission (NTC), Government of Pakistan has imposed provisional antidumping duty ranging from 3.21% to 37.51% on dumped imports of Sulphonic Acid into Pakistan Originating in and/or Exported from China, India, Indonesia, Iran, South Korea and Chinese Taipei. We prepared and filed this antidumping application with the NTC on behalf of our prestigious client M/s Tufail Chemical Industries Limited.
Of course this provisionally determined antidumping duty is meant to provide level playing field to the applicant domestic industry, during the investigation, against unfair trade practices of foreign producer / exporters.
Final determination shall be made within 180 days of this preliminary determination.
