On March 18, 2020, the National Tariff Commission (NTC) has imposed definitive antidumping duty @ 13.94% on dumped imports of Cold Rolled Coils / Sheets / Strips into Pakistan Originating in and/or Exported from Canada & Russia w.e.f. September 20, 2019 for a period of five years.
We prepared and filed this antidumping application with the NTC on behalf of our clients M/s. International Steels Limited Karachi and M/s. Aisha Steel Mills Limited, Karachi.
We hope that this final determination by the NTC will extend requisite assistance to the domestic industry to counter dumping and consequential injury. Thus, it will provide level playing field to the domestic industry of Pakistan initially for a period of five years extendable for another period of five years, after review by the NTC.
