On February 09, 2017, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan has initiated sunset review of anti-dumping duty levied on dumped imports of Formic Acid 85% and Above ranging from 3.48% to 44.10% originating in and/or exported from the People’s Republic of China and Republic of South Korea. As a result of this initiation, the anti-dumping duties which were due to expire on February 10, 2017 (levied for five years period from February 10, 2012) will now continue till the conclusion of this review. It is expected that on the conclusion of this review, antidumping duty will be extended for another period of 5 years.
