{"id":5400,"date":"2026-10-04T09:54:00","date_gmt":"2026-10-04T09:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sukhan.com.pk\/?p=5400"},"modified":"2026-10-05T16:01:25","modified_gmt":"2026-10-05T16:01:25","slug":"final-determination-anti-dumping-investigation-against-alleged-dumped-imports-of-dextrose-monohydrate-into-pakistan-from-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sukhan.com.pk\/?p=5400","title":{"rendered":"Final Determination &#8211; Anti-Dumping Investigation against alleged dumped imports of Dextrose Monohydrate into Pakistan from China"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The National Tariff Commission (NTC)\u00a0has issued its\u00a0Notice of Final Determination\u00a0in the antidumping investigation concerning imports of\u00a0Dextrose Monohydrate originating in and\/or exported from China on\u00a0October 04, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following its investigation, the NTC determined that Dextrose Monohydrate was exported to Pakistan at\u00a0dumped prices, causing\u00a0material injury to the domestic industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commission identified material injury, inter alia, on account of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022   Increase in the volume of dumped imports<br>\u2022   Price undercutting<br>\u2022   Price suppression<br>\u2022   Decline in sales and market share<br>\u2022   Decline in production and capacity utilization<br>\u2022   Decline in profits and profitability<br>\u2022   Adverse effects on inventories<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accordingly, the NTC has imposed a\u00a0definitive anti-dumping duty of <strong>10.79%\u00a0<\/strong>on imports of Dextrose Monohydrate originating in and\/or exported from China for a period of\u00a0five (05) years, effective from\u00a0July 15, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are honored to have represented the domestic industry (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/rafhan-maize-products-company-limited\/\">Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd.<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/matco-foods\/\">Matco Foods Limited<\/a>) throughout this investigation, from preparing and filing the anti-dumping application to actively pursuing the case before the Commission.
