This case marks an important step in ensuring that Pakistan\u2019s exporters continue to compete globally on fair and equitable terms.<br><br>In this investigation, S.U. Khan Associates, Corporate &amp; Legal Consultants acted as Pakistani Counsel for Tariq Glass Industries Limited (TGIL), which participated as a voluntary respondent, working in close coordination with our associated Brazilian Counsel, Monteiro &amp; Weiss Trade. We jointly with our Brazilian Counsel provided comprehensive legal and technical advisory support throughout the investigation and had the opportunity to host the Brazilian investigating officials during the on-the-spot verification, ensuring a transparent and professional engagement with Brazilian Department of Trade Remedies (DECOM).<br><br>Through a coordinated legal and technical defense strategy, our efforts resulted in a consistent reduction in the dumping margin for TGIL \u2014 declining from 86.04% at the preliminary determination, to 41.27% at the technical note stage, and ultimately to a definitive antidumping duty of 19.10% (USD 59.97 per metric ton) at the final determination. This progressive reduction demonstrates the strength of a well-prepared, data-driven defense and close collaboration between the legal and technical teams.<br><br>The investigation was concluded on 23 December 2025.
